Trevor Yelich

Trevor has explored and studied a wide array of bodymind practices and healing arts over the past 22 years. The richness of these studies, the gamut of his life experiences, and a deep curiosity about the seamlessly inter-connected mechanisms of mind and body have led to an increasingly integrated approach to healing.

Trevor has delved into numerous healing arts and traditions, most recently completing a three-year Acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. Prior to his acupuncture studies, he studied and practiced Conscious Connected Breathwork, Chi Nei Tsang (Visceral/Abdominal Massage), Acutonics® Vibrational Healing, Thai Massage, and Bodytalk. His perspective on healing practices has also been greatly influenced by a myriad of experiences with numerous personal and spiritual growth group processes, North American and Peruvian Shamanism, and a wide range of personal practices including Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Vipassana and other forms of meditation, Contact Improvisation, and Continuum Movement.

In addition to his therapeutic work, Trevor has taught Yoga for 14 years, including co-developing and co-facilitating numerous 200-hour yoga teacher trainings for both Trinity Yoga and Gaiatri Yoga. In recent years he has developed and facilitated Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator trainings culminating in what is now being offered as nūma Somatics: Integrative Breathwork Therapy. Trevor has had the blessing of sharing these trainings and related workshops all across Canada as well as leading yoga retreats in Canada, Costa Rica, and Peru.

I had the opportunity to complete my 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with these two incredible teachers, and what a life enhancing journey it was. Please pass this on if you know anyone interested. This is a commitment to the Self worth journeying with.

I am feeling so blessed today to be apart of such a beautiful training. You have created something really amazing and it's changing lives and will continue to change lives as it lives through each one of us in the training. I love and appreciate you so much.

If anyone is thinking of diving deeper into their own yoga practice by taking the 200 hour teacher training- I highly recommend Inspired Yoga Institute with Nora Maskey & Alice Hong. The love, compassion, nurturing and richness that these beautiful Souls bring to their teaching is priceless.
